Meeting for signing the memorandum on the creation of the cluster initiative "The Dnister 1362" took place on the 11th of October in Khotyn (Chernivtsi region). Organizers invited representatives of local communities of Khmelnystkyi and Chernivtsi region to take part in this meeting.
There are a few main points in the curriculum:
- analysis of tourism development on the Dnister river;
- web-portal of the Dnister river as an instrument for both tourists and service-providers;
- “Dnister: 1362 km of income” forum as the first step to cohesion via 7 regions of Ukraine;
- presentation of the training program “Green workshop: the way to million” supported by EBRD;
- the agreement on inter-municipal cooperation as a resource for state support of local self-government;
- the memorandum on the creation of the cluster initiative "The Dnister 1362".
The main thesis of cluster existence: it is important to "attract" as many tourists as possible to the region.
Presentation
Participants will also get acquainted with the results of analytical research of the Dnister River as a tourist destination in the context of European river tourism and tools and products for systematic and effective tourism development on the Dnister River.
