The forum was organized by Khmelnytskyi and Lviv Business support centres and supported by EBRD and "EU4Business" initiative.
The event took place during 4 days in 2 different locations: Lomachyntsi (Chernivtsi region) and Truskavets (Lviv region). Different topics were discussed: development of touriam on the European and Ukrainian rivers, ways to involve investments into your business, complex marketing and innovative approach to tourist involvement, and also consolidation for more effective result in this sphere. The new tool for tourism promotion on the Dnister river - the Dnister river portal - was represented.
The event had several aims:
- Attracting SMEs attention to the new abilities of tourism business development provided by interregional cooperation;
- Sharing the best business experience and innovative business models;
- Making the systematic review of tourism, connected with fresh water resources.
The main thesis of cluster existence: it is important to "attract" as many tourists as possible to the region.
Khmelnytskyi and Lviv Business support centres are the parts of the Business support centres network, funded by EU and aimed to raise competitiveness and profitability of Ukrainian SME via consulting and strengthening their potential. Project is beneficial for at least 30 000 SME and enterpreneurs.
