Located in Chernivtsi region within Khotyn, Kelmenets and Sokyryany districts. It covers an area of ​​almost 10 thousand ha. About 40% of the territory of the park is the slopes of the Dnister Canyon, and the remaining 60% is the Dnister Reservoir. The park was established in 2010, aiming to preserve historic and natural sites in the Dnister River Basin within the Chernivtsi region.

Places to see in Park “Khotynskyi” :

• Small caves in the canyon rocks
• The highest waterfall in the Chernivtsi region which is 30 meters high
• The well-preserved  Khotyn movie-star fortress•        "Dnister Walls" – a natural guide to the geology of paleolithic times
• 15th century stone church which is the second oldest among the preserved churches in Ukraine
• Scythian defense shaft of 8-3 centuries B.C.
• Rocks with human names - stoned Baba (grandmother), Did (grandfather), and Vnuchka (granddaughter) 
• Dnister water reservoir which is over 1 km wide with a maximum depth of 54 meters
