Located in the Khmelnytsky region within the Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Chemyrivtsi, and Gorodok districts. It covers an area of about 260 thousand ha. The park, created in 1996, aims to protect and properly use the nature of Podillia with its unique architectural complexes. The park is in the list of 7 natural wonders of Ukraine, and since 2017 the massif “Sataniv Dacha” (212 ha) of the Podilski Tovtry is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Places to visit in Podilski Tovtry National Nature Park:
- 129 natural, 19 archeological, and over 300 historical and architectural monuments
- 160 Tovtr (Medoboriv) - the only mountain ridge in the world, formed not by tectonic processes but by living organisms; the former barrier reef of the Sarmatian era - a unique natural masterpiece, the analogs of which can only be found in the USA and Great Britain
- The Smotrych Canyon which forms a loop around the island town in the old part of Kamyanets-Podilskyi. Hence, the city stands on two right banks of the tributary of the Dnister - Smotrych
- The tallest bridge in Ukraine for bungee jumping – Strimka Lan (Stream Doe)
- The Incredible Atlantis Cave - the only one in the region with 3 levels
- 200 historical monuments in Kamyanets-Podilskyi
- More than 300 species of endemic plants that do not grow anywhere else
