The monastery located on the rock of the 90 m height mountain above the Dnister River near the Liadova village (Vinnytsia region). It is one of the oldest orthodox rock monasteries in Ukraine, which works more than 1 thousand years. Anthony of Kiev, the founder of monastic tradition in Kyiv Rus, also founded the Liadovyi Usiknovenskyi Rock Monastery, as well as Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
