It is the Romanesque church, located in the Shevchenkove village (Ivano-Frankivsk region), which is a part of the national reserve “Davniy Halych.” The temple was built in 1194 by the Volyn prince Roman Mstyslavych. It is the oldest and the only remaining church of the Galicia-Volyn principality, which has survived to this day. This temple contains examples of exquisite white stone carvings, numerous drawings and graffiti on the walls.
