Geological nature monument of national importance located on the outskirts of the Kytaigorod village (Khmelnytskyi region). Its area is about 60 ha, and it is a part of the national nature reserve “Podillia Tovtry.”. The Kytaigorod outcrop is one of the most complete sections of Silurian and Devonian sediments in the world, being an international geological standard for the outcrop of the third and fourth Paleozoic period. The uniqueness of the outcrop is that only on the territory of the Kytaigorod village can be observed a full section of the Silurian deposit, which has 3 levels: the lower one is sandstone, the middle one is shale, and the upper one is limestone.
